Community Library
The Savitri Bai Phule Library, located in Bharukheda (Registration Number: 01497), was officially inaugurated in 2019 by the then Deputy Commissioner of Sirsa, Shri Ashok Garg. This wonderful library is dedicated to providing free education to all children in the area. With a collection of approximately 4000 literary and competitive books, it serves as a valuable resource center for the community.
The library has accomplished the following:
- Organizing a Blood Donation Camp.
- Conducting Free Health Checkup Camps.
- Hosting Free Eye Checkup Camps.
- Arranging area-level school competitions annually.
- Providing classes for school children.
- Preparing students for competitive exams.
- Offering career counseling.
- Helping students prepare for Navodaya entrance examinations (In 2020, Pushpa, daughter of Librarian Krishna Lal and a student in class 6, achieved first position in the entire district in the entrance examination).
- Selection of 1 youth from the library in Haryana ALM in 2022.
- Selection of 1 youth from the library in Punjab ALM in 2023.
- Selection of 4 youths in Group D in 2024.
- Selection of 2 lecturers in 2024.
