Your support of our collective of free library practitioners, researchers & activists allows us to:
- Mentor free libraries across India and provide them with books, reading programs, training & workshops, learning labs, curriculum resources and more.
- Support a movement that advocates for an equitable public library infrastructure and champions free community libraries, through funding research, advocacy campaigns etc.
- Sustain our recurring monthly expenses for staff, office premises and related operational costs.
You can support FLN by:
Donating Funds: We welcome donations of any amount. Do consider becoming an annual donor by pledging a fixed sum each year.
- Bank Transfer and UPI: Complete this google form and you will be redirected to a page with Bank account details and UPI id.
- Donation above INR 2000 Rs is tax-exempt. Details from the form will be used only for tax compliances.

Donate Books: Book donations are great! FLN’s member-libraries need books in mulitple Indian languages for early readers, children, young adults and adults. When donating, please keep in mind:
- Your donated books may be used for fundraising activities.
- Do ensure books are in mint condition. Avoid donating workbooks, encyclopaedia sets and exam preparation books (older than two years).
If you are in Delhi, you can schedule a books drop off by emailing booksforallfln@gmail.com. If you are in other parts of India, please visit our member page to identify which libraries are closer to you to schedule a donation.
Donate your expertise: If you have any ideas on how you can participate and help with FLNs mission please email freelibariesnetworkfln@gmail.com. We would love educators, librarians, public policy experts to share their insights with us and our FLN member libraries. In addition, we need the expertise of accountants, lawyers, tech mavens, designers, content creators etc. All are welcome!
