We believe reading helps us to understand things better and think critically about them.
We believe everyone has the right to read and should have equal access to books and information.
Objectives:
-To provide library services including circulation of books, reading programme and other activities free of cost to all members.
– To provide equal access to books, information and digital resources to all, without any discrimination on the basis of caste, class, religion, gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
– To provide literary and arts programmes that encourage members to participate and express their thoughts freely – To develop a library curriculum based on our readers’ needs and interests.
– To advocate for policy that improves access to all and to address issues that hinder access.
